After the initial meeting, the main objective was to come up with a cool identity which will
be attractive to both Balkan and worldwide (mostly Europe, for now) region.
The client wanted identity that will show marijuana in some way, so that was the first obstacle, after which we had to approach the identity in a way which isn't usual for cannabis industry - by avoiding the heavy usage of cannabis leaves and colors.
Design & user personas
Regarding the design, I wanted to create something that will show feelings of relaxation and enjoyment, without placing too much emphasis on the cannabis and leaves symbols.
As the company`s target audience are people around 25-40, a bit hippie and experienced with the product itself, I wanted to catch their attention with something that is slightly psychedelic and vibrating as well.
The outcome was amazing, a simple and vibrating identity that lovely translates throughout the packaging by using 3 main colors combo (psychedelic purple, joyful yellow and soft, cozy pink) with 3 different mixes for each strain. The color palette is accompanied by bold hippie typography and clean paragraphs.
